As part of its ongoing 10-year Commitment to Inclusion goal of providing 300 U of Q scholarships to underrepresented individuals, Quality Bicycle Products awarded 42 scholarships in 2022, bringing the overall total up to 170 for the program.

These scholarships covered both entry-level and pro-level bike mechanic education and include free tuition and lodging at U of Q Institute and United Bicycle Institute. They were awarded to gender- and racially diverse individuals dedicated to sharpening their skills, advancing their careers, and making a positive difference in their communities.

"My focus after acquiring these new skills is using them to help my community. I'd like to start a mutual aid maintenance/repair clinic so I can repair and tune up bikes for the homeless and low-income populations." – Jon, 2022 QBP Industry Scholarship Recipient
