Quality Bicycle Products is now accepting applications for its 2023 Community Grant program, which will offer $50k in grant funding for retailer-led initiatives that support increasing bicycle ridership among diverse and/or underserved populations, youth ridership, and educational programs.

This year the Q Community Grant program reaches $425k in awards since its inception in 2018 for projects ranging from bike mechanic classes, to outreach events, to youth programming. Grants are awarded to projects throughout the US and Canada.

"These grants help bike retailers invest in positive outcomes for their communities and customers. With the help of Community Grants, these retailers make profound impacts on their communities as well as the bike industry. Q is proud to contribute to that progress along with our supplier partners," said Seth Nesselhuf, Q's Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.

The $50k grant pool for 2023 is provided by QBP and individual award amounts will vary based on the number of selected projects and project scale.

Any US or Canadian retailer who is enrolled in Dealer's Choice can apply for the 2023 Community Grant. Retailers who are not currently enrolled in Dealer's Choice can become eligible by applying for the grant and enrolling in Dealer's Choice concurrently. Applications are due Friday, March 3, 2023, and winners will be announced in April.
