Early-Bird Festival Tickets and VIP Packages on Sale on Thursday, February 8

DENVER, CO – February 6, 2024 – Excitement is building in the Mile High City as tickets for the new Outside Festival officially go on sale starting this Thursday, February 8, with Fleet Foxes, Thundercat, Lettuce, Andrew Bird, Say She She, The Heavy Heavy and other musical artists taking the main stage in Denver's Civic Center Park on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, 2024. The first-ever Outside Festival is a celebration of everything outdoors, featuring live music, adventure films, thought-provoking speakers, immersive experiences, the latest outdoor gear, and more.

"The outdoors is the lifeblood industry of the State of Colorado, contributing more than $62 billion to the state and supporting over 500,000 jobs—that's 18% of the workforce in Colorado," said Conor Hall, Director of Colorado's Outdoor Recreation Industry. "Historically, Colorado's outdoor industry has not had a voice that is relative to its size and importance. With the Outside Festival, we are creating a gathering that unifies our voice and empowers the industry and community it represents."

Produced by industry-leading event and festival agency, Groundswell Experiential with consultation from Superfly, the festival is driven by a partnership between Outside Interactive Inc., the world's leading creator of outdoor content, services, events, and experiences, The State of Colorado's Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, and Visit Denver. With a desire to make the outdoors more accessible, the Outside Festival strives to inspire and promote outdoor pursuits for the health of people and the planet; create more opportunities for access and inclusion in the outdoors; and serve as a model for sustainable practices. "We're on a mission to get everyone outside and to inspire, educate, and activate more people to experience everything the outdoors has to offer," said Robin Thurston, Outside CEO.

Early-bird tickets for the Outside Festival start at $39 for a single-day general admission ticket and $59 for the full weekend. VIP packages will also be available starting at $103 for those who want an elevated experience. Outside+ members will be offered two-day tickets for the price of a single-day ticket for themselves and up to four friends, plus discounted VIP pricing. Visit theoutsidefestival.com for more information and to purchase tickets.

The Outside Festival will take over Civic Center Park in downtown Denver and feature an array of dynamic activities and experiences, including:

Music: Thundercat, Lettuce, and Say She She will headline the festival on Saturday, June 1, followed by Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, and The Heavy Heavy on Sunday, June 2. Additional popular Colorado bands will take the stage throughout the weekend and concertgoers can expect a unique and immersive musical journey set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.

Film & Ideas Summit: From documentaries to adventure films, the festival will also feature a full weekend lineup to captivate audiences. Screenings will take place at the Denver Art Museum, with films curated in partnership with the Boulder International Film Festival, Telluride's Mountainfilm Festival, and the Mountains of Color Film Festival. Plus: Featured speakers to include record-breaking athletes, bestselling authors, world-renowned explorers, leading activists, and inspiring artists.

Gear: The Outside Festival will be a destination for outdoor enthusiasts to scope out all the best gear—from demos and editor recommendations to the latest from the Outside Lab @ CU Denver, a state-of-the-art gear testing facility. The Festival grounds will showcase the best of the outdoors with support from Outside's network of leading brands: Velo, Backpacker, Climbing, Pinkbike, Gaia GPS, Trailforks, and SKI.
