New COROS Repair Service Aims to Extend Device Lifespan and Reduce E-Waste

IRVINE, CA, May 20, 2025 — Since 2018, COROS devices have been known for their ease of use, reliability, athlete-focused software, and best-in-class battery life. Now, COROS is taking its commitment to longevity even further with the launch of the COROS Repair Service—a streamlined solution that extends product lifespan, minimizes environmental impact, and ensures athletes stay focused on their training with minimal disruption.

Through the COROS Repair Service, users can send in a damaged device, pay a nominal repair fee, and receive a refurbished replacement within a week, allowing them to resume training while their device is repaired without missing a beat.

All COROS devices are built with tough screens and durable cases, and they receive regular firmware updates to ensure they withstand years of intense use. However, in the rare event of damage or functional issues, the new repair service ensures that customers get the maximum longevity and value out of their device.

Available repairs include replacing a broken screen, button, or digital dial. A defective battery can also be replaced. If any of those repairs are needed, users can visit coros.com/repairs to send their device back and receive a temporary replacement of the same device. COROS will ship the temporary replacement device as soon as the customer ships their broken device, ensuring that athletes have the least possible amount of downtime without a working watch or bike computer, and minimal disruption in training or recovery tracking.

All returned devices will be repaired at COROS’ manufacturing facility, ensuring high-quality repairs with the goal of keeping products in use for as long as possible. All current COROS GPS devices are eligible for the repair program, including PACE 3, PACE Pro, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, VERTIX 2S, and the DURA Solar GPS Bike Computer.
