Association to Host VIP Industry Event and Expo Presence, Setting Foundation for 2026 NBDA Retailer Summit Canada
WHISTLER, BC – The National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) is proud to announce its participation in Crankworx Whistler 2025, marking a significant milestone in the organization's commitment to strengthening the specialty bicycle retail industry across North America.
The NBDA will maintain an expo presence from August 12-14, 2025, providing retailers and industry members with the opportunity to connect with the NBDA team and learn about comprehensive programs, retailer resources, membership benefits, and ongoing advocacy efforts throughout Canada and North America.
Industry VIP Event to Unite Retailers and Suppliers
On Thursday, August 14th, the NBDA will host an exclusive VIP Industry Event from 6:00-8:00 PM at Black’s Pub. This special evening of connection and celebration is designed to unite retailers, suppliers, and NBDA P2 program members in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere focused on strengthening the specialty bicycle industry.
The event will feature drinks and cocktail food service, providing attendees with opportunities to meet the NBDA team, connect with industry leaders, and learn about key NBDA programs including P2, continuing education, advocacy work, and the new Supplier Savings Program. The gathering will celebrate partnership, innovation, and shared success in the Canadian and North American markets.
Building Toward 2026 Partnership
This year's collaboration serves as a precursor to a larger partnership vision. The NBDA is planning to host a comprehensive 2-day NBDA Retailer Summit Canada during Crankworx Whistler 2026, creating an even more robust platform for industry education and networking.

Strong Canadian Presence and Focus
The NBDA has maintained a dedicated focus on supporting Canadian retailers since 2022, with approximately 60 Canadian members currently benefiting from the association's programs and resources. The organization has cultivated strong relationships with key distributors in Canada, suppliers, and advocacy organizations, creating a comprehensive support network for specialty bicycle retailers.
The NBDA operates a focused P2 retailer group composed of 10 Canadian retailers and provides specific member resources tailored to Canadian partners. All members have access to the full range of NBDA membership benefits, including profitability programs, retail best practices resources, and the NBDA Women in the Bicycle Industry initiative.
