Fidlock USA is excited to announce Mateo Marasas as our Business, Technology, and Development Associate. Mateo joined the team earlier this year and has quickly become a driving force behind the systems, technology, and behaviors shaping our inside sales and customer support operations.
Mateo brings a rare blend of industry experience, academic achievement, and competitive cycling excellence. He holds a double major in Recreation, Tourism, and Sport Management and Communication, as well as a Master of Science in Technology Management, equipping him with a powerful combination of strategic insight and technical expertise.
Professionally, Mateo has held roles such as Cycling Venue Coordinator for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games and Community Sales Manager at Pedal Industries, before joining Fidlock to lead initiatives that strengthen our sales infrastructure and internal operations.
A lifelong cyclist, Mateo has been deeply involved in the cycling industry both as a rider and professional. His accomplishments include:
• Member of the Argentinian National BMX Racing Team (2014–2017)
• Current member of the Argentinian National Track Cycling Team
• 4x USA Cycling Collegiate National Champion
• 3x Argentinian National Champion
• Competitor in BMX Racing, Downhill, Dual Slalom, and Track Cycling
Mateo's unique background and passion for cycling make him an invaluable asset to Fidlock as we continue to innovate and grow in the North American market.
