BESPOKED, Europe’s leading handmade bicycle show, is going global. In September 2026, BESPOKED will launch in Osaka, Japan – a city long recognised as a centre of bicycle and component manufacture, metal fabrication and craft.
Why Osaka?
Osaka sits at the heart of Japan’s bicycle manufacturing heritage. From the precision of NJS-certified Keirin builders, whose frames carried world champions, to contemporary builders, the region has a reputation for uncompromising quality and innovation. Today, that tradition continues through apprenticeships and the next generation of builders carrying the craft forward.
A meeting of cultures
BESPOKED Osaka will celebrate Japan’s vibrant handmade scene, while also welcoming Western and international builders to build a new frame building hub in Asia. This cultural exchange is central to the show – giving Japanese makers a platform to reach new audiences, while offering international exhibitors the chance to learn from Japan’s unique approach to craftsmanship, design, and cycling culture.
“BESPOKED has always been about more than beautiful bikes – it’s about community,” said Petor Georgallou, BESPOKED Director. “Osaka gives us a chance to bring two traditions together, and create new connections between builders and riders across continents.”
