On August 28 2025, Exposure Lights will release a fully updated range of off-road helmet lights. Pre-orders are now open for North American retailers.

For convenience and uniformity, the new Exposure helmet lights now feature USB-C charging. Every light in the range is almost 50% faster to charge, while still incorporating the battery protection that is expected of Exposure Lights. USB-C technology also allows for the use of a wider range of power banks with the lights, to facilitate multi-day rides.

In another significant change, all the helmet lights will feature Exposure’s award-winning TAP technology. The Joystick, which has been in the range since 2005, has now been upgraded to benefit from TAP.

The program matrix has been simplified but still covers numerous run time needs, combining coloured LEDs for ease of program selection. For continuity, programs now mirror those of Exposure’s bar-mounted off-road lights.

The multiple award and race-winning helmet light range consists of the Zenith Mk4, Diablo Mk15 and Joystick Mk18. The Zenith Mk4 is now blasting 2360 lumens; the legendary Diablo Mk15 pushes out 2000 lumens and the iconic Joystick has a pinpoint accurate spot beam putting out up to 1200 lumens.

TAP Technology

The ‘no button needed’ TAP technology enables rapid changes between modes, by tapping either the body of the light or the helmet. Removing the need to locate the function button results in faster control to match the pace of the trail. Three levels of sensitivities are available to allow greater personalisation.
