Lectric eBikes Co-Founders Levi Conlow, CEO, and Robby Deziel, CIO, were recently announced as speakers for PeopleForBikes' 2026 Bicycle Leadership Conference (BLC), taking place March 17–19, in Dana Point, California.
In their session "Rethinking the Playbook: How Lectric eBikes Took a Different Path," Conlow and Deziel will share how lifelong friends with complementary backgrounds in business and mechanical engineering built one of the most recognizable e-bike brands in the U.S.
By challenging long-held assumptions around pricing, distribution, and how brands connect with riders, Lectric eBikes took a markedly different approach to marketing, building a direct, digital-first relationship with riders and focusing on clarity, trust, and value over traditional industry playbooks. Their approach helped the brand scale efficiently and reach new audiences by expanding access to e-bikes well beyond the industry's core customer base.
Founded on the belief that electric bikes should be accessible, reliable, and fun, Lectric eBikes' remarkable success is thanks to prioritizing real-world utility and straightforward storytelling, expanding the idea and utility of who e-bikes are for, and celebrating how people experience the joy of riding.
"It's important to learn from leaders who questioned convention and built something new," said Jenn Dice, president and CEO of PeopleForBikes. "Levi and Robby's entrepreneurial story is rooted in friendship, innovation, creativity, and a commitment to affordability and access. Their perspective will add valuable insight to the conversations we're having at BLC rethinking traditional bike industry norms."
The Bicycle Leadership Conference is the industry's annual forum for collaboration and action, bringing together senior leaders from brands, retailers, suppliers, and adjacent industries to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing bicycling today. Sessions are designed to spark candid conversations, share lessons learned, and help leaders chart a stronger path forward, together.
Conlow and Deziel join a growing roster of executives and innovators participating in the 2026 conference.
