“The IMBA Trail Accelerator Grant (TAG) program added a new range of education options last year," said David Wiens, IMBA Executive Director.

“Due to the response, IMBA’s 2026 TAG program once again includes education opportunities to help trail champions amplify their work.

And this year, TAG Education is earlier to help communities accomplish more during the season ahead.”

The previous 2026 TAG grant application period for planning and design services was open from January to March. Learn more and create an account for TAG opportunities through this annual grant series.
