(May 12, 2026) — The Colorado High School Cycling League is privileged to introduce the Thiry O'Leary Foundation as its newest financial supporter for the 2026 season.
The Thiry-O'Leary Foundation is a Denver, Colorado-based family foundation founded in 2012 by Kent Thiry and Denise O'Leary. The foundation focuses on education, economic mobility, environmental sustainability, and protecting and renewing our country’s democracy.
Foundation co-founder Kent Thiry says, "There is perhaps no better way to appreciate our great state than atop a mountain bike. Denise and I are proud to support an organization that accomplishes fundamentally powerful things for young people by combining important elements around outdoor recreation, conservation, valuing the outdoors, exercise, and overall well-being."
With Kent and Denise’s support, The Colorado League can expand its mission of supporting its student-athletes and families, and bolstering communities across Colorado. The League helps develop lifelong relationships with sports and the outdoors among its racers, as well as a festive, fun, and safe atmosphere for student-athletes and their families.
"The Colorado League is very proud to have earned the support of the Thiry-O'Leary Foundation,” says League Executive Director Chris McGee. “Our nearly 2,000 student-athletes are involved in an amazing healthy outdoor sport in a team setting that builds community and fosters volunteerism and civic engagement. We are grateful to the Foundation for their recognition and trust in our ability to positively affect the lives of thousands of young people each year."
