Minneapolis, MN – 6/10/2026 – ERIK'S Bike Board & Ski, the largest independent bicycle retailer in the United States, is excited to announce the opening of a new retail location in
Fayetteville, Arkansas. The store, located at 1052 E Stearns Street, will open this July, expanding the company's presence into a new market and community.

"We're really excited to be in Northwest Arkansas and extend the ERIK'S brand into such a vibrant cycling community," said Erik, founder and CEO of ERIK'S Bike Board & Ski. "The cycling infrastructure and culture is unique and inspiring, and we are proud to be a part of it."

ERIK'S has existing ties to the Northwest Arkansas cycling community. In 2021, Dave Olson, ERIK'S President & Partner and volunteer Chair of the nonprofit Bicycle Industry Employers Association, worked on the ground with Northwest Arkansas Community College to help launch its Bicycle Assembly & Repair Technician program, one of only two in the U.S. This work also helped lay the foundation for NWACC's Trail Technician program, which launched in fall of 2024.

Our team is undertaking a full remodel of the Stearns Street location ahead of the July opening.

As the largest Specialized dealer in the country, ERIK'S will bring an expanded product assortment to the area, including a wide range of high-quality cycling gear, including local Northwest Arkansas brand, Allied Cycle Works, as well as Aventon, Transition, Super73, SE, Kink, Batch, Emojo, Haro, and National Bicycle Company. ERIK'S will also carry seasonal snowboard and alpine ski equipment, giving local customers access to the best gear year-round for their outdoor adventures. Winter sports products will arrive in October.

ERIK'S is excited to welcome longtime Rogers resident Jonathan Whiteman, formerly of The Bike Route, as the Store Manager of ERIK'S Fayetteville. Jonathan is currently building a team of passionate local cyclists who share his commitment to serving and growing Northwest Arkansas cycling.

A lifelong rider, Jonathan brings extensive experience as a cyclist, bike shop professional, and trail builder. His deep roots in the area make him an ideal leader as we introduce ERIK'S to Arkansas, and we are thrilled to have his expertise, enthusiasm, and local perspective guiding the  launch of our Fayetteville store.

ERIK'S is committed to welcoming riders of every level, from first-time buyers to seasoned trail regulars — and to being a resource for the entire cycling community, not just a place to buy a bike.

The Northwest Arkansas market is an important part of ERIK'S continued growth, and the company looks forward to investing in its people through training, leadership, and ongoing professional development.
