For the 2026 Colorado High School Cycling League race season, The Pro’s Closet and Yeti Cycles, along with multiple other supporting partners are proud to announce the Colorado League Bike Library.
In year one of the program, 15 Yeti ARC hardtail mountain bikes, helmets, gloves, sunglasses, and more are being provided to nominated athletes to use for the Fall race season. When the season is done, the bikes will be sold on The Pro’s Closet’s website (theproscloset.com) as part of a special collection of charity bikes where all proceeds will be donated back into the CO High School Cycling League to create a cyclical fundraising effort.
From The Pro’s Closet:
The Colorado League Bike Library feels like a win for everyone and we couldn’t be more excited at how quickly it came together when the right people stepped into the same room at the right time. In 2026, we knew a major part of our marketing focus was stepping back into the community and supporting local racing and non-profits already doing good things in the space.
We’re a smaller company located right in the heart of one of the most influential cycling communities in the world. Focusing on supporting this community and building relationships in our backyard felt important - “A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships” type of approach. In our search for a local race series to support in 2026, The Colorado High School Cycling League was one of the original conversations we had. Chris McGee (Colorado High School League Executive Director) came out to our Thornton Warehouse to sit down with Justin and Adam to chat about the usual event sponsorship details. It turns out, a rough concept of this idea had been considered on both sides of the conversation, but critical pieces to bring it to fruition were missing - until now.
When it was said out loud, the wheels began turning quickly. It evolved from supplying athletes with bikes from The Pro’s Closet’s used inventory to involving Yeti and providing ARC hardtails for every rider (they were immediately onboard) as well as 6D Helmets, Optic Nerve. Sunglasses, Hestra Gloves, and custom stickers from VC Graphix to give these ARC’s a personal touch.
Together with all of the program sponsors, we gave out the first 7 Yeti’s in June and the remaining 8 athletes will receive their bikes on Aug 22nd at our Thornton headquarters. We truly believe that bikes can change lives by developing healthier lifestyles, offering more sustainable transportation methods, and building social connections. At The Pro’s Closet, we’re committed to getting more people on bikes and breaking down barriers to getting more youth involved in the sport.
The Pro’s Closet is excited to attend the race series and cheer on every rider. This program feels like a tremendous step and we only hope it continues to grow in the future. If you’re a brand that wants to help out in 2027, don’t hesitate to reach out to avadeboncoeur@theproscloset.com to get a conversation started.
