Outerbike’s Moab event kicks off with a meaningful Can’d Aid bike build event to support kids at the local community center and in the Navajo Nation through NavajoYes. Photos available HERE
WHAT: The bike build is part of Outerbike’s 2026 Moab event, taking place October 2–4. Reporters, photographers and members of the media are invited to attend, photograph and/or film the build, interview organizers and volunteers, and capture the cycling community coming together for a meaningful cause.
This year’s partnership also includes a special fundraising activation: Can’d Aid will raffle a REEB Cycles Hall Pass frame at Outerbike, giving attendees another way to support the effort.
The collaboration builds on last year’s successful Outerbike and Can’d Aid effort, when volunteers came together during Outerbike Moab to build bikes for young riders, including 50 bikes ultimately donated through the Diné Bike Project.
For many of the children receiving a bike, it is their first taste of freedom on two wheels. This initiative is part of Can’d Aid Treads and Trails initiative that has built and donated nearly 15,000 bikes (along with over 9,000 skateboards) since it was founded in 2013.
