BLOOMINGTON, MN—Nearly 1,500 retailers and vendors brushed aside Minnesota’s single-digit temperatures to meet and mingle at Quality Bicycle Products annual trade fair.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (BRAIN)—In its eighth year running, the National Bike Summit is setting new records this year with more than 500 registered attendees including more than 70 retailers, more than double the number of retailers from previous years.

PORTLAND, OR—Local fire officials were among the unlikely guests at this year’s North American Handmade Bicycle Show. They dropped by on the second day of the show because the Oregon Convention Center exhibit hall was at capacity.
FRYEBURG, ME (BRAIN)—Downeast Bicycle Specialists, the Northeast’s largest parts and accessories distributor, will once again be holding an Open House in Maine.
WHEAT RIDGE, CO (BRAIN)—Wheat Ridge Cyclery will be opening its doors tomorrow night for its annual “Women’s Night Out” starting at 6:30 p.m. The shop is expecting high attendance.

PASADENA, CA (BRAIN)—Inclement weather didn't dampen the crowds' spirit as they lined the course from Santa Clarita to Pasadena, cheering on American Levi Leipheimer as he captured his second straight Tour of California title yesterday.

DENVER, CO (BRAIN)—Attendance jumped 25 to 30 percent at the second year of the Serotta International Cycling Institute Science Symposium and Expo, according to event organizer and Institute director Dr. Ray Browning.
NOVATO, CA (BRAIN)—Marin Bikes will be displaying and demo’ing its 2008 bikes, and Marin Bikes staff and Shaums March of Mad March Racing will hold special raffle tickets for dealers attending the Decline/Road Magazine Street Block Party.
KEYESVILLE, CA (BRAIN)—Jason Smith is heading up the 20th Annual Keyesville Classic from March 14-16, and he wants everyone in the industry to know what a great time he has planned.
Friday night will feature a kick-off party at the Kern River Brewery where you can register for the races.
