DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (BRAIN) — Huffy Corp. is sponsoring NASCAR driver Chase Briscoe during his rookie season that begins Sunday in the Daytona 500.

The Huffy logo will adorn the front of Briscoe's helmet while he drives the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford. The sponsorship began last year in the virtual racing league iRacing and moves to on-the-track competition for 2021. Briscoe also will have access to a Huffy Everett e-bike in the pits.

"We are proud to partner with Chase for his first season as a NASCAR Cup Series driver to bring Huffy, in a small way, to the racetrack," said Kris Parlett of Huffy. "Chase is a determined competitor who inspires us with his warmth and hard work. He is a great embodiment of what Huffy stands for — family, fun, and enjoying the ride. Both his authentic personality and passion for the sport align perfectly with our brand's 'Live The Ride' mantra."

Briscoe previously drove the No. 98 Ford in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, winning his ninth Xfinity race of 2020 at Kansas Speedway. That gave him 11 career Xfinity victories overall.

Huffy is part of Covation Holdings Limited, which also includes Royce Union, Niner, Batch, Buzz E-Bikes, and Vaast.
