George Eubanks rejoins Highway Two as president

COSTA MESA, Calif. (BRAIN) — After nearly five years away from the company, George Eubanks has rejoined Highway Two as president.

Eubanks had previously been North American Sales Manager and then president of of the Southern California-based distribution company, from 2008 to 2016. He left in 2016 to join ABUS USA as vice president of sales and marketing for its security division.

"I am thrilled to return to the cycling space but most especially to Highway Two. Highway Two is a special company in our industry, and we have a lot to do as we prepare for the next stage of growth with a focus on improving service levels to all of our retail partners," Eubanks said.

Eubanks has over 25 years of experience in the industry with leadership roles at Mavic, Shimano American and Serfas. At Highway Two, Eubanks will oversee operations at the Costa Mesa headquarters and two distribution centers in Olney, Illinois, and Reno, Nevada, which together includes more than 65 employees.

He was instrumental in helping to build and grow the company during the formative years as he really understands the culture of our industry, the brands and the people," said Gaspare Licata, the CEO of Crankbrothers and a Highway Two board member. "As he has proven several times, we know he is the right person to lead H2 into the next phase with enthusiasm and professionalism."

Highway Two L.L.C. is a joint venture between Continental Tire and the Selle Royal Group. It distributes Continental, Fizik, Crankbrothers, Selle Royal, Brooks, 100%, Abus and Knog products.
