STOCKHOLM (BRAIN) — Thule Group net sales increased a little more than 9% year-over-year both in the fourth quarter and in 2025 helped by product updates in the company's Sports & Cargo Carriers category.
Overall net sales for the fourth quarter were SEK 1,835 million ($206.4 million), compared with SEK 1,678 million at the same time last year. For 2025, net sales were SEK 10,429, compared with SEK 9,541 in 2024.
In the North America region, yearly sales increased 8.5% with trends gradually improving during the year, according to Thule. Sales increased in its Active with Kids & Dogs category while Sports & Cargo Carriers declined slightly. The region accounted for 24% of 2025 sales for the year.
Thule updated its range in roof boxes and bike carriers during the year, "which has had a clear positive effect on sales, even in the challenging North American market," said Mattias Ankarberg, Thule president and CEO. He also noted the Quad Lock acquisition in November 2024 boosted overall sales as phone mount sales grew by about 15% during the year.
Company-wide fourth-quarter net income was SEK 21 million, compared with minus SEK 37 million year-over-year. Earnings per share for the quarter was SEK 0.20, compared with minus SEK 0.35 at the same time last year.
Thule's net income for 2025 decreased 0.7% to SEK 1,114 million, compared with SEK 1,122 million in 2024. Earnings per share went down 2.5% year-over-year, from SEK 10.59 to SEK 10.33.
