NEW YORK, NY (BRAIN)—Nielsen Holdings, Interbike’s parent company, plans to go public, according to a filing late last week with the Securities & Exchange Commission.

Nielsen also owns Bicycle Retailer & Industry News, which it licenses to the National Bicycle Dealers Association.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—In recognition of these tough economic times, Interbike has committed to freezing booth and sponsorship prices for 2010, keeping them at 2009 levels.

A booth will remain $2,070 per 10-foot x 10-foot for the 2010 show.

PROVIDENCE, RI (BRAIN)—Bikes Belong and Interbike have contributed $2,500 to the U.S Open Cycling Foundation (USOCF) for safe cycling seminars that will take place four times a day during OutDoor Demo East in Providence, Rhode Island October 8 - 11.
