Marin launches new additions to MultiTrac mountain bike line

Published November 19, 2019

PETALUMA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. has launched the latest additions in its MultiTrac line of full suspension mountain bikes, the new Rift Zone Carbon.

Consisting of two models, the Rift Zone Carbon 1 and Rift Zone Carbon 2, they expand the Rift Zone line to provide higher-spec models.

The models feature high modulus carbon fiber monocoque front triangle paired with aluminum swing arms. The swingarms are modeled after the Alpine Trail's swingarm, with oversized
bearings and a locking collet main pivot.

The frames have integrated rubber downtube protectors and modern geometry with a 65.5° headtube angle, 76° seattube angle, 425mm chainstays, and 480mm reach (size L).

The frames' dropper post optimization allows the rider to run longer than stock posts if desired. The frame has a threaded bottom bracket and ISCG05 tabs.

Suspension travel is 130mm front/125mm rear.

The Rift Zone Carbon models will be available by late November, with MSRPs of $4,399 for the Rift Zone Carbon 2, and $3,499 for the Rift Zone Carbon 1.
