BIG FLATS, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Stan's has a new biodegradable sealant specifically formulated to road and gravel tires. Only 35ml of Rolled Gold sealant, according to Stan's lab testing, is required for a 700c x 28mm tire, 35% less than the competitive average.
Engineered with high-latex water-based formula and particle technology, Rolled Gold can seal punctures up to 7.8mm across a 35-100 psi range, according to Stan's, which notes the primary testing was conducted at 100 psi.
Rolled Gold's lower-viscosity formula is combined with 100% natural latex rather than synthetic alternatives. Stan's says that results in improved adhesion to casing fibers. Like all Stan's sealants, Rolled Gold is engineered and produced at Stan's headquarters in Big Flats.
MSRP for 500ml is $29.50, 125ml $11, and 60ml $5.50.
