Nutrisoda and Giant Team Up

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (BRAIN)—Ardea Beverage Company, creators of Nutrisoda, launched the Good to Go promotional partnership with Giant Bicycle to elevate the importance of living healthier lifestyles.

As part of the promotion, thousands of Giant cycling products will be given away online and at hundreds of retail locations across the country to consumers who become eligible by purchasing Nutrisoda.

Thousands of Americans have a chance to get involved in the sport of cycling and enjoy all eight Nutrient-enhanced Nutrisodas that offer a crisp taste along with leading edge vitamins and minerals.

In their quest to look and feel their best, today’s consumers want to get on the road to a lifetime of wellness and Nutrisoda, the Good Soda, is ready to help with its Good to Go promotion. The promotion creates opportunities to win ten Giant OCR Alliance 1 performance road bicycles, valued at $1,500 each, as Grand Prize Giveaways in the national on pack promotion, 185 Giant helmets awarded for first prize winners, and 1,000 Nutrisoda-Giant water bottles for second prize winners.

On-air radio contests in select markets will give away 51 Giant FCR 1 fitness bicycles valued at $900 each. Additionally, Nutrisoda will give away 1,000 Giant Boulder mountain bikes through local entries at participating retailers in select markets.

At the heart of the Good to Go promotion is the Giant Code Game, which runs from March 10 through May 31, 2008. Consumers shopping at participating retailers will be able to play by entering the Giant Code printed inside specially marked Nutrisoda four-packs on Consumers may also enter the sweepstakes via mail-in entry forms found at participating convenience stores.

The Nutrisoda Good to Go integrated marketing campaign will be supported by radio buys and promotion in 12 markets, highlighted by on-air contests and including bicycle, helmet and water bottle giveaways. An online advertising and e-mail campaign rounds out the promotion.
