Interbike Selling Expo Space Quickly

Published April 28, 2008

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—Interbike exhibitor space for the indoor portion of its 2008 International Bicycle Expo is already 88 percent sold-out.

In addition, preliminary figures indicate sold exhibit space for Interbike 2008 is on par to meet or exceed last year's record-breaking number of more than 313,000 square-feet of net-sold exhibit space.

In a targeted mass e-mail distributed last week, Interbike's sales department sent a 21-page Exhibiting Information Brochure to cycling companies and organizations that have not yet signed-up (or renewed contracts) for the 2008 Expo (to be held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, September 24-26, 2008), as well as the Outdoor Demo to be held two days prior.

The Exhibiting Information Brochure includes detailed information about the event, exhibiting options, marketing and sponsorship opportunities and attendee demographics. The current contracted exhibitor list and floor plan with booth assignments can be viewed at Interbike's Web site (Clink link).

"In the past two weeks our sales team has confirmed exhibit space for more than 500 exhibitors and sponsorship packages for first time and regular exhibitors, alike, which puts us on track to meet or exceed last year's record-breaking results," said Andria Klinger, Interbike's sales manager. "With available exhibit space becoming limited, our sales team is focused on working with potential exhibitors who may have overlooked renewing their yearly contract."

Preliminary sales figures for the OutDoor Demo also indicate an increase in exhibit space sales over last year, but Klinger cautioned that it is too early to predict
final Outdoor Demo numbers since exhibitors traditionally reserve space for this event later in the season.

"While there is no deadline for reserving exhibitor space for OutDoor Demo or International Expo, it is assigned on a first come, first served basis," Klinger added.
