ABG Hires New Plant Manager

Published August 17, 2008

CHATTANOOGA, TN (BRAIN)—American Bicycle Group has hired Jeff Zajac as its new plant manager.

"We are extremely delighted to have Jeff joining the team and look forward to his proficiency in overseeing the daily operation of the plant," said Peter Hurley, chief executive officer of ABG.

Zajac has a BS in Business and Finance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Unfortunately he never got to compete in the “Little 500” bicycle race, although he does have roots in both road and track cycling. In the ‘80s he held a category 2 racing license and competed throughout the Midwest.

Today, Zajac considers himself a casual rider with aspirations to just hang in there and enjoy the cycling lifestyle and health benefits. Zajac was formerly employed by the Lynskey brand of bicycles, where he managed the materials and scheduling of bicycle manufacturing.
