Don't tell Jamie Ortiz you can't put in serious miles on an Electra. Ortiz pedaled her Electra Townie (shown here) 40 miles on Sunday from Ocean Beach south through downtown San Diego and across to Coronado Island. Ortiz, an avid cyclist, began courting Electra's marketing director Elayne Fowler after meeting her at a bike event last summer. Her attention paid off and she began handling the Electra account for San Diego boutique PR firm Bailey Gardiner last month.
