Published July 7, 2009

FLETCHER, NC (BRAIN)—Cane Creek has made staffing changes within the sales and marketing department to improve communications and customer service with its customers.

“This reorganization allows each of us in the sales and marketing department to effectively focus our energies and to own our specific areas of responsibility,” said Peter Gilbert, Cane Creek's vice president of sales. “Our ultimate goal is to provide outstanding customer service and support to all customers throughout the supply chain and to anticipate their needs.”

Effective immediately, Eric Smith has been appointed to distributor and dealer sales manager covering North and South America. Jason Grantz, director of marketing, will be responsible for the effective management of Internet and Catalog retailers. Peter Gilbert, vice president of sales, will be responsible for Cane Creek’s brand development in Europe, Asia and other emerging markets.

“We are very eager to build long-term relationships in the cycling industry,” Smith said. “I’m looking forward to working closely with our distribution and dealer partners to create Cane Creek brand champions from coast to coast.”
