Kenda USA Hires National Sales Manager

REYNOLDSBURG, OH (BRAIN)—Kenda USA has hired Ben Anderson as its new national bicycle sales manager and director of MTN product development.

He will be responsible for the continued development of Kenda's Mountain and BMX line of tires; as well as directing all sales efforts for the OE and RP sales channels.

Anderson comes to Kenda after earning his MBA in Marketing Management and Sports Management Administration from the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University. Prior to that Anderson served as the service manager for multiple bike stores, including Roll in Columbus, Ohio, along with previous industry experience with VeloNews magazine, the Jelly Belly Professional Cycling Team and Mavic's and Shimano's neutral support programs.

Additionally, Anderson and his wife, Sara, celebrated the birth of their first child on November 18. Mother and daughter are both doing well, and recovering in Columbus, Ohio.
"I am very pleased that Ben Anderson has join Kenda; he brings a wealth of Bicycle Industry Experience and is a super hard worker and already in the short time he has been here I have seen his determination and efforts to improve our division," Jim Wannamaker, North American marketing director-Bicycle Division.

“This is an amazing time in my life,” Anderson said. “I am looking forward to all of the challenges that are coming my way, both personal and professional. Kenda has a long tradition of producing an excellent quality product and I hope I can continue that, as long as I can get some sleep."
