PHILADELPHIA, PA (BRAIN)—Advanced Sports has hired John Solinsky for the position of parts and accessories product manager.

In his new role, Solinsky will manage the production of P&A for ASI’s four bike brands: Fuji, Kestrel, SE and Breezer—as well as the entire product line for recently acquired Oval Concepts' line of components.

"We are pleased to be able to add John to our ever-expanding product team," said Mike Gann, director of product development at ASI. "With his experience in the P&A sector, he will undoubtedly help produce the best products for our brands. I look forward to working with him."

Solinsky comes to ASI as an industry veteran having worked with brands including Trek, Specialized, SRAM, American Classic and Ritchey/Syncros; he has also worked for many years at the retail level with his family's four stores in Spokane, Washington.

“Joining ASI right now is a very exciting opportunity," Solinsky said. "With double digit growth over the last few years in bicycle sales, the timing is right. The recent purchase of Oval gives us a platform to deliver to our worldwide distributors and retailers a solid and advanced component line.”
