Published April 20, 2010

CHARLOTTE, NC (BRAIN)—Adam Little, team manager for the Subaru Gary Fisher Road Cycling Team, from Charlotte, NC, was killed while commuting to work on March 17, 2010.

Little was riding on the right hand shoulder of a two-lane divided road. Apparently the vehicle that hit Little veered onto the shoulder, and he was struck from behind by the vehicle.

“We have known Adam for the past few years while working with him through the team. He was a special person and one of our favorite people to visit with. The world is a lesser place without Adam,” said Steve Mathews, president of Paceline Products, Inc.

Adam and his wife Melissa have two small children. The family requests that all memorials may be made to Levine Cardiac Kids Fund c/o Carolinas Healthcare Foundation, 1221 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28204, or Levine Children’s Hospital c/o The Children’s Fund, PO Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232.
