Sigma USA Moving in January

Published December 22, 2010

BATAVIA, IL (BRAIN)—Sigma USA will be moving to a new location approximately three miles from its current suburban Chicago location. The new building located in St Charles, Illinois is a larger, newer and more energy efficient facility.

“The timing couldn’t have been any better. We outgrew our existing space and were able to take advantage of the favorable real estate market. We more than doubled our space without increasing cost. In such a cost competitive market, we need to look for creative ways to reduce expenses to be profitable,” said Sigma USA managing director Brian Orloff.

The new warehouse will provide ample space for Sigma to continue onsite quality control testing and packaging. The QC, assembly and packaging will be in a dedicated location adjacent to the shipping and receiving division. Additionally, the office portion of the building has a large atrium and conference room ideal for hosting meetings such as the upcoming Chicago Area Bike Dealers Association meeting scheduled for February.

The building features skylights in the warehouse to greatly reduce electric consumption and showers for those who ride their bikes to work or who take advantage of the nearby park and fitness trails during lunch breaks. The move is scheduled for early January.

The new address is:

Sigma USA
3487 Swenson Avenue
St. Charles, IL 60174
