Suunto N.A. Names National Sales Manager

OGDEN, UT (BRAIN)—Suunto's North American subsidiary has hired David Grayson as national sales manager for the United States. Grayson brings experience from run, bike and outdoor specialty as well as general sporting goods.

Grayson most recently served as national business manager for PowerBar, where he developed strategic sales and marketing plans across the sport specialty channel leading to double-digit growth. Prior to PowerBar, Grayson led successful sales teams at RockShox both in the U.S. and Europe.

“David’s experience and relationships in the specialty training and outdoor market should be an immediate value add for Suunto as we look to increase our distribution and educate sales staff on the floor to guarantee sell thru in these channels,” said Nora Stowell, vice president and business director for Suunto North America.

At Suunto, Grayson’s main focus will be to further develop and manage an already strong national sales force, expand distribution and strengthen Suunto’s positioning in the outdoor and training categories. An avid mountain biker, skier and loyal Suunto user, Grayson is grateful for the opportunity to return to his roots in the technical outdoor industry.
