Skirt Sports Hires VP of Marketing

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN)—Skirt Sports has hired Leanne Hand as its vice president of marketing.

“Skirt Sports is thrilled to have Leanne on our team,” said Nicole DeBoom, founder and CEO of Skirt Sports. “She brings extensive knowledge in PR and marketing to Skirt Sports with hands-on experience both on the brand and agency side working with some of the most well-respected brands in the world. She undoubtedly will be a huge asset as we continue to build Skirt Sports globally.”

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Hand brings many years of sports experience to the position, including stints with Dunlop-Slazenger and Russell and prior managed the marketing for Russell Athletic in the men’s, women’s and team sports categories. Hand also helped build Moving Comfort; one of the original clothing brands for women as the company’s marketing director. Most notably, Hand brings 20 years of experience working in marketing on the agency side representing clients such as Walt Disney, British Airways and AT&T. Hand is now based at Skirt Sports’ headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, and will oversee and direct all aspects of the brand’s global positioning.
