DealerCamp Introduces New Activities for 2012

Published September 29, 2011

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA (BRAIN)—DealerCamp has introduced new and enhanced activities as well as revised hours for 2012.

Among the revisions to the daily programming will be DealerCamp's evening Meet & Imbibe Outside exhibit village hours, featuring food and drink, racing, and an open exhibit venue. The latter will allow retailers to have key visits with exhibiting brands at the conclusion of the days' test rides.

DealerCamp 2012 will bring an additional new tool designed to assist exhibiting brand's efforts to visit with key retailers. The effort will equip retailers with a "passport" of sorts to get stamped after completing visits with manufacturers and will culminate in contest for the most complete and diverse dealer passports.

In other DealerCamp news, Scott Sports has signed on for the third consecutive year. Scott Sports will move entirely into the DC Expo Village (paddock), helping to propel and enhance efforts to maintain a critical mass of buyers within the village between test rides and at other off-bike times.

"We have enjoyed the event for two consecutive years now; we love the location and the platform for reaching retailers and we are confident DealerCamp can grow in all of the ways necessary for the event to remain relevant long-term," said Larry Morton, vice president of sales and marketing for Scott Sports. "For Scott Sports, this touch point is a vital and integral part of our plan for 2012."
