Park Tool Tech Summit to Hit Atlanta, Minny

Published October 6, 2011

ST. PAUL, MN (BRAIN)—The Park Tool Tech Summit will be held in Atlanta and Minneapolis in 2012. These are two cities that are new to the Tech Summit Schedule.

The Atlanta Summit will be held on January 23 and 24 at the Westin Atlanta Airport. The Minneapolis event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites on February 20 and 21.

“The mechanics in the southeast are going to love what we think is the best short term clinic that there is,“ said Bill Armas, director of marketing for Park Tool. “Atlanta Hartsfield airport has non-stop flights to almost every major city in the country. It will be very easy for out-of-towners to fly in for the Tech Summit.”

The Minneapolis Tech Summit is also going to be something special. Armas said, “We are starting the Tech Summit the day after QBP’s Frostbike ends. This should make it easy for shops to attend both events on a single trip."

The Park Tool Tech Summit is a hands-on training clinic for professional mechanics. It is conducted by the experts from the top component brands in the world, including Campagnolo, Shimano, SRAM, Fox, Cane Creek, Mavic, FSA and Park Tool.

“We are really looking forward to mechanics come to our hometown," Armas said. "We are planning on providing buses so that attendees can come to the Park Tool factory for a tour on Monday night.”

Professional mechanics can register for the Park Tool Tech Summit visiting www.parktool.com/techsummit (click on above link). The cost to register is only $200 and includes all classes, notebook, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and bonus presentation on Monday night.
