Gazelle recalls about 320 Urban Arrow cargo e-bikes because of faulty child-restraint buckle

Published January 29, 2026

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Gazelle USA is recalling about 320 Urban Arrow FamilyNext Pro cargo e-bikes because the Fidlock buckle used to secure children in the cargo area can fail to fully engage.

Three incidents have been reported of the buckle not fully closing but they led to no injuries.

The recalled cargo e-bikes come in one size and in green and black. The frame is aluminum with a reinforced foam (EPP) cargo box. The cargo bike is 105 inches long and 28 inches wide. "Urban Arrow" is printed on the bottom of the cargo box.

Consumers should email Gazelle USA or call toll-free at 800-838-5388 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to arrange for a free repair of the bench assembly in the cargo area. The repair will include a replacement buckle and will be done at a dealership location.

The cargo e-bikes were sold at individual specialty stores from March 2025 through December 2025 for about $9,000.
