BETHESDA, Md. (BRAIN) — A federal judge reinstated three Consumer Product Safety Commissioners fired in May by the Trump administration after they objected to staff cuts and sued nearly two weeks later for unlawful dismissal.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a safety warning to consumers to stop riding FENGQS F7 Pro e-bikes because of fire and burn hazards, posing a risk of "serious injury or death."

GIVISIEZ, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Reto Aeschbacher, who has led Scott Sports' marketing for nearly 30 years, is leaving the company to become CEO of Bergbahnen Lenzerheide, the company that operates the cable cars and ski lifts in the Lenzerheide ski resort area in Switzerland.

LANDRUM, S.C. (BRAIN) — Cardinal Cycling Group is selling the machinery and raw materials from what was once the largest steel frame factory in the U.S.

CHICOUTIMI, Québec (BRAIN) — Some two hours north of the city of Québec, along the Saguenay River, is the so-called “aluminum valley,” a region that produces around a third of Canada’s aluminum, thanks to ample hydroelectric power.

CALABASAS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Canyon's first U.S. Experience Center is at Pedalers Fork, a combination café in bike shop in the Calabasas, a city about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. 

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Legislation introduced in Congress this week would eliminate tariffs on components used to assemble complete bikes in the U.S., long a major concerns of bike brands looking to add value in the U.S. without making the full step toward frame manufacturing.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — Industry Nine announced Tuesday that it acquired British Columbia-based We Are One Composites, which has been its source for hand-laid carbon fiber rims for the past five years.
