NORTHFIELD, Vt. (BRAIN) — Sock maker Darn Tough Vermont says it has seen a 51 percent increase in sales in the first three quarters of 2015 and has added more knitting machines and more workers at its mill, including 100 new job positions there this year.
SAN MATEO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Shares of GoPro Inc. tumbled 17 percent in after-hours trading Wednesday after the action camera maker reported third-quarter earnings that fell short of analyst expectations due largely to weak sales of its compact, lightweight HERO4 Session camera, introduced during the second quarter.
OLATHE, Kan. (BRAIN) — Garmin reported Wednesday that revenue and margins continued to slide in the third quarter as the strong U.S. dollar undercut growth in unit sales.

MONTREAL (BRAIN) — Dorel Industries reported that second-quarter revenue for its bike business, Dorel Sports, was down $35.2 million or 12.3 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Revenue totaled $251.1 million compared to last year's $286.2 million for the segment.
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox Factory Holding Corp. said Wednesday that its sales in the first half of its fiscal year were up 15.8 percent, to $165 million.
OLATHE, Kan. (BRAIN) — Garmin shipped 8 percent more units in the second quarter than a year earlier but saw revenue edge slightly lower as unfavorable currency rates reduced revenue by $59 million and negatively affected margins during the period.
OSAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Shimano Inc. sales were up nearly 26 percent in the first half this year, to 197 billion yen ($1.6 billion) worldwide. Bike sales were up 29.7 percent. The company said a solid economy in the U.S. contributed to the results, as did the continued depreciation of the yen.
HELSINKI (BRAIN) — Mavic sales were up 3 percent globally in the first half of this year, as its parent company Amer Sports Corporation recorded a net sales increase of 9 percent, to 461.1 million euros ($509 million).
HEERENVEEN, the Netherlands (BRAIN) — Accell Group N.V. noted that operating profit in the first half of the year was up 29 percent to $53.8 million (€49.1 million), while net profit was up 21 percent to $34.9 million (€31.9 million).
SEYMOUR, Conn. (BRAIN) — Thule Group is reporting a net sales increase of 20 percent in its second quarter, a result helped by favorable currency fluctuations. In currency neutral figures, the Sweden-based company saw a 6.4 percent sales increase in the quarter, which ended June 30.
