Published April 14, 2023

MINNEAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Erik's Bike Shop is now authorized to ship Specialized bikes purchased from its website directly to consumers in the U.S. Direct-to-consumer Specialized bikes previously were only available through the brand's website

"Specialized has been Erik's No. 1 brand partner for over 30 years," said shop owner and founder Erik Saltvold. "We are excited to officially provide the option to ship new Specialized and S-Works bicycles directly to our customer's door. Riders can now tap into Erik's 300,000-plus square feet of inventory. Whether looking for the hottest new bike or the occasional deal on a previous year model, we'll get them set up."

Erik's will offer support through its customer service team and provide ongoing post-purchase support. According to Erik's, the Brain Trust Customer Service team has more than 100 years of collective industry experience to support riders during and after the sale.

Midwest-based Erik's has locations in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. It recently opened its first Arizona location in Scottsdale, which is also Erik's first e-bike specific location.

In February 2022, Specialized began direct online sales of bikes to U.S. consumers.
