Highway Two picks up Italian helmet brand Kask

Published November 20, 2013

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Highway Two will become the exclusive distributor of Kask cycling helmets in the U.S. and Canada in January. Highway Two will serve North American retailers through its network of 11 inside and 40 outside sales reps and territory managers, the company said in a press release.

Highway Two, which also distributes Continental, Fizik, Selle Royal, Brooks, Crankbrothers and Abus Security, is headquartered in Orange County, California, and has a logistic center/warehouse in Olney, Illinois.

“Highway Two is proud to begin our collaboration with Kask Helmets. Their growing product line includes a beautiful combination of design, technology, function and comfort,” said Highway Two president George Eubanks. “Our DNA at Highway Two is deeply rooted in marketing authentic, category leading brands and Kask is right at the top of the helmet category.”

Kask America, with offices in Concord, North Carolina, previously distributed the product in the U.S. The U.S. office also supplies safety helmets for climbers, construction workers, search and rescue, skiers, snowboarders and mountaineering. It will continue to distribute those other helmets, but Highway Two will take over distribution of its cycling line. In Canada, Kask was previously distributed by P3.

Parent company Kask S.r.l., headquartered in Bergamo, Italy, was founded in 2004. The company still makes all of its products in Italy.

“Kask S.r.l. was looking for a company with a proven track record. We’re really looking forward to working with H2 and having it take charge of our cycling helmets distribution in North America. Thanks to their experience on high-level accessories we are sure that they will represent our products and our brand value at its best and that they will be able to offer the best service to all the dealers,” said Diego Zambon, general manager of Kask.
