The red S goes green with Cav’s collection

MORGAN HILL, Calif. (BRAIN) — Specialized is veering away from its signature red with the CVNDSH Collection, inspired by British sprinter Mark Cavendish. The line includes a full road kit, shoes, saddle and special edition S-Works Venge with green as the accent color.

Specialized says it’s the first time it has created an entire rider-specific line.

Cavendish and Specialized have had a long-running relationship with the British sprinter winning some of his biggest races aboard Specialized products.

“It isn’t just my name on a jersey because I’ll never do that,” said Cavendish. “I believe in the equipment, I personally helped design them with the team and I believe in the ability they have to help a rider be the fastest they can be.”

“Having a rider as dynamic and prolific as Mark collaborate with us on a collection like this is the epitome of what we are all about here at Specialized,” said Specialized founder Mike Sinyard. “We have always been focused on providing riders with products that provide real benefits and having a rider of Mark’s caliber so closely linked with this project has helped to do just that.”

The line is available now at retail. It includes saddle/bar tape ($300), jersey ($150), bib shorts ($180), gloves ($35), shoes ($400) and helmet ($250).
