SAN FRANCISCO (July 13, 2016) - Timbuk2 is offering two new packs that pair with New Balance's C-Series urban cycling shoe.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with New Balance on a fresh approach to city cycling," said Timbuk2's senior design director Andrea Chynoweth. "These bags are the ultimate companions for living, working, and cycling in the city, and this partnership is one more way that we can outfit the cycling community with the gear they need to take on urban life."

Timbuk2 x New Balance C-Series Sling, $158, can be worn left or right-handed and is slightly stretchy. Its materials and colors match New Balance's C-Series model, with highly reflective material. It includes safe and easy phone access and laptop protection. The inside of the pack has an internal organizer, and a reversible shoulder strap ensures that both lefties and righties can use it with ease.

Timbuk2 x New Balance C-Series Backpack, $198, features sophisticated styling with stretch. It includes soft secure spots for laptop and phone; it also has external helmet and U-lock storage. It has rainbow and speckled reflective materials and styling inspired by New Balance's C-Series. It has an additional Tricot-lined stash pocket and a perforated air mesh back panel.

Both products feature:

  • Highly reflective iridescent strip that glows in direct light; not your average rainbow
  • Reflective flecked screenprint that improves on-bike visibility
  • Reflective zipper pulls
  • Stretchy exterior trampoline pocket that accommodates different helmet sizes and can be stowed when not in use
  • Laptop pockets that fit up to 15-inch laptops
  • Scratch-resistant Tricot-lined Napoleon pocket that offers safe and easy phone access

These bags complement New Balance's C-Series CM600C urban cycling shoes ($119.95). The shoes features a traditional sleek silhouette, reflective laces, and high-density rubber and are designed for urban riding.

Both bags will be available starting July 16 at Timbuk2 stores and on www.timbuk2.com.
