North St. Bags introduces waterproof pannier/backpack

Published October 10, 2016

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — North St. Bags' new Morrison is a new commuter pannier/backpack designed to transition quickly from the bike to the shoulders.

The Morrison is designed to protect items against foul weather and integrate with the bike rack seamlessly while also having the benefit of being worn as a backpack when off the bike. It uses a hook and bungee cord mounting system to secure the bag on the bike.

The lightweight shoulder straps can be stowed out of the way when the bag is being used on the bike. It's made from waterproof nylon with a drawstring closure, waterproof flap and padded laptop sleeve.

Internal Velcro mounts enable adding or swapping out pockets as needed and a bright lining aides in finding interior items. Its capacity is 1,100 cubic inches /18 liters. The Morrison is made in the U.S.

MSRP: $189. More information: northstbags.com/collections/morrison-backpack-panniers.
