Saris Launches Thelma Photo Contest

MADISON, WI (BRAIN)—Saris Cycling Group has created a photo contest to energize retailers for the spring season. The Saris Thelma Display Contest is an opportunity for dealers to show off their shop’s unique bike rack displays featuring the Thelma.

Introduced last April, the Thelma hitch rack has a modern, stylish design. A stunning display will enhance the beauty of the rack.

“We came up with this concept in an effort to get retailers to share the success they’ve been having with Thelma. We’re hoping to spread that success a little wider and to learn in the process,” said David Cathcart, director of marketing for Saris. “I’m looking forward to seeing all the photos come in,” he added.

Qualifying entries will be selected based on their resourceful use of space, their imaginative ways of putting the Thelma on display and overall aesthetic appeal. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges including BRAIN’s editor Megan Tompkins during the third week of April.

The top three dealers chosen by the judges will receive free Thelma racks. Winners will receive as much product as is displayed in the photo (up to one pallet/28 units).
