FRYEBURG, ME (BRAIN)—Downeast Bicycle Specialists, the Northeast’s largest parts and accessories distributor, will once again be holding an Open House in Maine.

Dealers are invited to visit Downeast’s warehouse, meet its staff, visit with vendors, see new product and take advantage of special pricing and promotions.

Downeast will provide lunch, and will also raffle off door prizes every hour. More than 30 vendors will be in attendance including Shimano, Michelin, Kryptonite, Planet Bike, Optic Nerve, Time, Pedro’s, Topeak, DT Swiss, Sigma and Kinetic.

The Open House will help kick off the 2008 season for Downeast Bicycle, which after a very successful 2007 season, has added more than 800 new items to its catalog, and has picked up several new vendors including Royal clothing, Sunline components, Schwalbe tires, Cycra fenders, Nathan reflectives, Santini clothing, Inno car racks, Sharkies nutrition, Pake frames and Vicious Cycles accessories.

Downeast expects its 2008 catalog to be in shops by the second week of March.
