Cycle of Influence Conference Postponed

Published October 8, 2009

HERMOSA BEACH, CA (BRAIN)—The inaugural Cycle of Influence [COI] Conference has been postponed to 2010, with tentative dates set for October 20 - 22.

According to Sergio Bravo, executive producer of COI, the delay will only "help us and our supporters plan better for the 2010 event."

Bravo said that COI had a late introduction and that most sponsors' dollars were already accounted for in 2009.

"By postponing we allow ourselves more time to truly fertilize the concept to those potential guest and sponsors alike," Bravo said. "The event will retain a similar program/agenda, venue and many of the speakers. We even plan to include some new speakers that were not able to attend this year and we have more time to develop our charity event and other creative activities for the conference."

Bravo said that at this year's Interbike and previously through COI's social networking groups that the group has received resounding votes of confidence for the event.

"The overwhelming support for the concept has proven that the idea is one that our invited guests [cycling and action sports key influencers] feel is viable and necessary," Bravo said.

Those guests who have already registered and paid for the conference have the option of a refund or of forwarding payment to the 2010 event.
