DealerCamp Adds Dirt Grand Prix Race

Published May 25, 2011

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA (BRAIN)—DealerCamp has added the Dirt Grand Prix to its list of activities.

The Dirt Grand Prix short track cross-country mountain bike race will run during the opening evening and will feature men’s and women’s Elite races. Additionally the evening will offer an Industry Challenge open event, giving exhibitors and attending retailers a chance to test their XC skills against one another.

“Bringing pro racing to DealerCamp will be great fun for all the attendees and to run the race through and around cocktail hour will be twice as cool. We also see it as an opportunity for the manufacturers to give their sponsored athletes and retailers a chance to meet and swap stories," said Lance Camisasca, president of Lifeboat Events.

The DealerCamp Dirt Grand Prix will run on Tuesday, July 26, starting at 5:45 p.m., and will run during the DealerCamp opening reception. Companies interested in sponsorship opportunities or participation for the event are encouraged to contact Lifeboat Events for more information.

"The Luna Pro Team is excited and honored to be invited to participate in the inaugural Dealer Camp Dirt Grand Prix. It's a great opportunity for our athletes to race and get know some great bike dealers who work so hard to support the industry and racing. We hope this is the first in a long and successful run of events produced by the crew at Lifeboat Events," said Dave McLaughlin, general manager of the Luna Pro Team.

DealerCamp takes place on July 26 in Park City, Utah, at Deer Valley Resort.
