QBP Shock Treatment Center Expands Services

Published June 7, 2011

BLOOMINGTON, MN (BRAIN)—The QBP Shock Treatment Center (STC) has achieved certification as an official Cane Creek authorized service center for Double Barrel rear shocks.

After training for two days at Cane Creekʼs facility in Asheville, North Carolina, STC staff members were certified to service and repair Double Barrel shocks. Additionally, STC purchased a nitrogen tank and other specialized tools and parts required to restore Double Barrel shocks to factory specifications.

“Iʼm very excited to add Cane Creek Double Barrel to our list of factory authorized repairs,” said Don Amundson, STC technical and customer service lead. “We have always serviced their Cloud Nine and AD series shocks, but the Double Barrel was out of our scope. Iʼm looking forward to furthering our partnership by offering dealerʼs factory-
level service for all of Cane Creekʼs suspension products.”

Amundson added that STC will now offer nitrogen as a service upgrade to any shock or fork they service. The factory-authorized suspension and disc brake service center
repairs rear shocks and suspension forks from RockShox, Manitou, Marzocchi, Maverick, White Brothers and disc brakes from Avid, Hayes, Hope, Formula and Shimano. Most repairs can be turned around in 48 hours, Amundson said.
