Registration open for USAC race mechanics clinic

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (BRAIN) — USA Cycling has opened registration for this year's Bill Woodul Race Mechanics Clinic, which will be held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center here Nov. 13-17.

The clinic offers instruction on race support for all cycling disciplines. Attendees learn team and neutral support responsibilities and techniques, improve their understanding of top-end racing equipment, and increase their knowledge of bicycle theories and fundamentals.

Participants are asked to have at least two years of work experience as a bicycle mechanic. Housing, meals, course materials and a USAC race mechanic license are included. The clinic costs $500 until Sept. 1, $575 until Sept. 15, when registration ends. International participants are welcome. Space is limited to 60 students.
