Marin Bikes readies relaunch to dealers

Published August 1, 2013

MARIN, CA (BRAIN) — A little more than a year after former FSA managing director Matt VanEnkevort took over the reins at Marin Bikes, the company is set to relaunch this month with fresh branding, a reorganized company structure, and a new line of bikes aimed at re-establishing Marin as an iconic mountain brand.

To mark the occasion, Marin will bring its top 25 U.S. dealers to its Bay Area headquarters, located in the cradle of Northern California’s mountain biking culture, on Aug. 5 and 6 to preview the new line. The brand’s top 25 Canadian dealers will follow on Aug. 8 and 9.

“I couldn’t be more excited. Marin Bikes California is intimately connected with its namesake, and our people and products reflect this. We all live and ride here, and we love it. We’ve challenged ourselves and dug deep for our fans—our dealers and customers—and we have high expectations for 2014,” said VanEnkevort, Marin’s CEO.

“… We’ve built a bigger, stronger company, poured resources into R&D, and embraced platforms like 27.5-inch wheels, the IsoTrac suspension system, and much, much more, offering greater performance and versatility to our riders. We can’t wait for everyone to see it all come together,” he added.
