NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, MA (BRAIN) — Todson Inc. has updated its minimum advertised pricing policy for Topeak products for the 2014 season. The new policy pins the minimum advertised price at MSRP. The previous policy allowed retailers to discount Topeak products by as much as 20 percent off MSRP at any time.
“We’ve listened to our dealer partners,” said Neal Todrys, owner and CEO of Todson. “We’ve heard some passionate opinions and received very constructive feedback from our open dialogue. We have a very clear direction on how to support IBDs and strengthen the Topeak brand and look forward to this new program.”
The updated MAP policy, which goes into effect Nov. 1, includes two promotional pricing windows (one in the spring and one in fall) during which retailers can discount Topeak products. Todson will release details soon.
